Royal Service for VIP's

Over the last few years Tipples have served some famous guests, notably back in 2010 we served the Duke of Edinburgh at a charity lunch in Cheshire and Freddie Flintoff in Ludlow. However the bar was raised last weekend when we served Champagne on arrival and canapes with the Golden Goose caterers and who should come around the corner but Princess Beatrice, she acted like any other guest and was ever so polite and had a really enjoyable night. After the meal was served she came and thanked all of the staff for what she described as a wonderful meal and service, she really does show the royal family in a very positive light there were no airs and graces just a young lady enjoying her friends party like anyone else. It was later pointed out to us that Richard Branson's children were also present, let's hope we get a call from the Queen soon for her jubilee party!

New bar design arriving soon!

Tipples have just ordered a new modern stainless steel illuminated mobile bar ready for the 2012 wedding season. We now have 6 bars in total with 3 different designs, we have 4 traditional wooden bars, 1 white mirrored bar and very soon our colour changing LED bar. Colours can be set the whole night to match your theme or change during the night. It's the perfect bar for modern marquee functions, birthdays and cocktail nights. We have noticed over the 5 years we have been in business that guests are always wanting the next best thing and we believe that with it's modern, chic look this bars fills that gap! Ludlow Castle Drinks Service

Just returned from a lunch service at Ludlow Castle - perfect setting for your event and the castle look beautiful covered in snow this lunch time. Provided a waiter service for the 70th birthday drinks, branching out now to provide the service and glassware with the organiser organising the drinks. Bookings for Summer Tipples!!

Well with Christmas behind us and the new year ahead it would seem that the amount of guests planning their speacial day has rocketed, since Christmas we have taken a range of bookings for wedding receptions, guests getting married abroad and then having a party, a turkish themed event, school summer balls and a range of charity events. A few summer dates are now fully booked and our new white mobile bar has been hired many times. With the "hot" British summer around the corner what better way to celebrate your event with a cocktail or a glass of Pimm's!

Leaver's Ball Weekend

Ellesmere College and Presfelde Leavers Balls went very well over the weekend. 420 at Ellemere College, Champagne and Strawberries for arrival, choice of 10 wines and champagne for the meal and then a full bar in the evening. Pinot Grigio and Rioja prooving to be the favourites. 180 at Presfelde Ball, lots of wine and real ale this year, all catering equipment and fridges supplied by Tipples as well. Great venues to work at and people to work with, looking forward to the Christmas balls there later in the year.

21st Birthday Weekend!

Congratulations to all off the 21 year olds that celebrated their birthdays last weekend! We provided 3 bars at different venues across Shropshire in marquees and village halls. Two of the parties went on until well past 4am :) Our new white bar was out as well with it's modern mirrored front and granite sytle tops.
